Sisters in the Brotherhood

Local 330’s Sisters in the Brotherhood Committee was formed in 2019 with a mission of providing a space for the women in the local to speak up about issues unique to women in (or looking to enter) the field of carpentry. The Sisters in the Brotherhood leads recruitment and retention efforts and advises local staff on barriers to entry women face in a traditionally male-dominated field, while advocating for measures that would reduce or remove those barriers entirely.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm at the Joslin Recreational Center, located at 231 Amherst Street in Providence.
